Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon (Seattle, WA) en avr. 2012

      Entretien

I am still undergoing the interview process. Had one round over phone and second is tomorrow. I gave one interview with them in the past and cleared 2 ph rounds and went into an in-person. There was this chinese dude with an accent like I have not seen ever before. I had super tough time understanding anything he said and i am honestly surprised how he can conduct business with that kind of speaking skills. I was not ever sure if I was answering his question or blabbering something else altogether. first time: Questions were mostly around general PMP style project management on the phone. Lot of what would you do if projects are late, how do you approach projects (breakdown of work), escalation methods etc etc. In person, they tried to grill me on Scrum which I wasnt good with at the time. Asked about my book reading habits. Asked to design a web services framework for gift cards. Object oriented programming questions. A lot of Project mgmt questions. One question was funny where he said, if i was to manage a project with 100s of team dependencies and the resources are not coming available what would I do. I kept telling all the standard methods and he keeps saying what if it doesnt work and what if that doesnt work... I told him that if they have a problem like that, then they actually have bigger problems in their company than project management. I didnt think it was too hard, but was definitely interesting. In the end, they rejected me. Second time: Only one ph round so far. It was interesting.

      Entretien

My interview process began with an online assessment, followed by a panel loop of five consecutive interviews. The rounds focused heavily on the company's Leadership Principles using STAR-method behavioral questions, including a "Bar Raiser" to ensure candidates exceed the current team's average.

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon (Brisbane) en mai 2026

      Entretien

I applied online. After about a week or two, a recruiter from Amazon phoned me and we spoke for about 45 minutes. He was very pleasant to speak to, we covered some basics around the role and its expectations, and he laid out the next steps in the interview process, including the STAR method. The second step was a line manager interview where he focused on details of past projects and lessons / outcomes. The next step (which I didn't make it to) would have consisted of several interviewers asking different types of questions, and at this stage you don't need to satisfy each interviewer. I presume after this they give you a result. Much of what is documented online aligns with my experiences.

Applied, Recruiter Screen then nothing. Not sure when I'll get a call back. The process seems super complicated. Will apply again now that I know what they are looking for.
