I had a 60-minute interview with another team member. My perception of the team is it was all about them as they asked me questions and offered suggestions on how to prepare for my next interview. Questions asked were from a technical nature with the expectation that the individual in this role would be able to answer them (a technical background was not highlighted as a requirement on the job description). After the interview, AWS went ghost and I haven't heard from them again. My overall impression is this was a pretty ethnocentric interview from AWS' standpoint and as as candidate they didn't care about my perspective or concerns.

After several emails with multiple HR personnel to schedule the interview, I interviewed directly with the hiring manager. The manager was very positive and the interview went well. She said they would be in touch to schedule the follow-up interview, but then I never heard another word. I emailed the HR reps who had previously booked the interview and the hiring manager, but no one responded to those contacts.
