J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon (Bratislava) en août 2018

      Entretien

I applied to a job position in FBA investigation specialist with Turkish at Amazon in Bratislava, Slovakia. The next day I was contacted by a Recruiter from Amazon saying that they would like to do a phone interview. As she arranged the interview for 3 weeks later, I did my all planning accordingly and of course prepared for the interview. Finally she called me on the day the first question was: +Are you eligible to work in Slovakia? Do you have a work permit? -No, I am residing in Italy but since I am a Turkish citizen, I would need a sponsorship / work permit in Slovakia. +I am sorry but we cannot go further with your application. I don't want to waste your time... etc. (well it is a bit too late for that though). (Very quick and very easy interview) My answer to her on the phone was as follows; This is a job opening where fluent in Turkish is required. Don't you know that almost all of the applicants would be Turkish and most of them would have only Turkish citizenship which means that they would need a work permit in Slovakia. When you proceed with my application don't you see on my CV that I am NOT claiming to have any EU citizenship /work permit and I am NOT residing in Slovakia? If it is necessary to have work permit why don't you put it, as a mandatory question to answer before I submit my job application? If it is necessary to have work permit then why don’t you ask me at the first place when you send an e-mail for the interview? So I would not waste my 3 weeks with waiting, make plans accordingly and preparing for an interview that will not exist in the end. And when I said all of these stuff to her, she said to me that as a suggestion ''I should be looking for jobs in Italy‘’ (currently where I am residing)... Must be a joke, right? Faaaaaaaaaaaaarr from being professional.
