When it came time to speak with the leader of the team, they asked about my education, and once I answered, they decided not to move forward. My advice to Amazon is to vet education information before wasting candidates time in lengthy interviews. My education background was clearly stated on my resume and Amazon candidate profile.

Long interview process. it took about 3 weeks. I had a hiring manager interview, then a "loop" of 5 interviews and a writing assessment. Everyone was very nice. they are very strict on the STAR format and give you a lot of details on how to answer the questions. They also push the 16 principles very hard.
