Entretien
Had a phone screen with a group leader. He was quite awkward and not really well-spoken. He didn't care about brain teasers that he was supposed to ask me and let me do the assignment later and submit it to him. He mostly asked about my resume points and wanted to see if I can come up with ways to use my particular expertise for Amazon. The day after the phone screen I was invited to an on-site, but that invitation was withdrawn due to my visa situation (they couldn't wait for me to get a visa).
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Given a generator of unbiased bernoulli numbers (0 or 1 with p=0.5), create a biased bernoulli trial generator (generate 0 or 1 with the specified 0 < p < 1)
Applied for Amazon AGI. After first round, it will go into full round of multiple interviews. Lots of modern LLM training technic questions. There are still some behavioral questions, but less than general Amazon roles.
Interviewed with 1 phone screen, 1 coding, 2 ml design and 2 lp rounds. Most questions were non-leetcode questions more related to day to day ml implementations. The questions were very practical.

The interview for the Applied Scientist position primarily focused on three core components: technical questions regarding machine learning, a live coding assessment, and a detailed review of my professional experience.
