J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon (New York, NY) en juin 2016
Entretien
I had two phone interviews and one was fine, and the second one was with a man who I could hear typing on his computer the entire time. He asked me to demonstrate my knowledge of a statistics program - I don't mean like a case study how would I approach a problem - he literally asked me how to run data on this program like which tabs I would click, etc which I didn't have access to on a computer at the time. He had zero people skills and ended up making me feel stupid for not being able to walk him through a computer program I wasn't even looking at. He also didn't seem to know anything about the position I was interviewing for. Overall really poor experience, and considering how Amazon has been treating employees during COVID, I'm not sad about not getting the internship.
Interview process consisted of recruiter screens like most companies, and then a technical screen in SQL and Python. Lots of standard to intermediate level SQL and Python questions from basic SQL select statements all the way to SQL window functions, and for Python focused on functions to sort and organize lists/arrays etc. with conditional logic. Then after that was a loop of 5 interviews in one day, focused heavily on the company's leadership principles. Each resume story or behavioral question was tailored to one of the LPs. Listen to your recruiter they will tell you the LPs you need to study most. The 5-person loop is very metric intensive, so make sure to focus on a STAR method for your responses and be super clear about what metric impact your actions/projects had, and again, how your actions align to the comapany's LPs.

1) Started off sending off my CV and cover letter.
2) Conducted a situational test.
3) Recorded a video technical assessment (they gave me tasks and an excel sheet to write my solutions. My screen, audio and video were recorded and I had to talk through my answers).
4) 2 Interviews (non-technical, just about my application/experiences and how it aligns with Amazon leadership principles).
5) Maths test
