Submitted my resume to aws jobs, contacted three weeks later. Scheduled a call with the recruiter, During the first interview the recruiter arrived 20minutes later to the call and did not apologize for being late, he then read a script about aws and position. He scheduled a call later. Did not provide any preparation material.
Got a phone interview, answered 95% of the technical questions, only 2 behaviorals. The interviewer was respectful but seriously boring and not interested at all, the attitude was " I'm wasting my time doing this interview", he did not read my resume. I thought a did well but got a templated rejection email.
Overall it was a mediocre experience.
Answering all of the technical questions and behavioral questions is not enough for passing this.
I believe your "race" or not being a native English speaker can get you disqualified from the process.

Few rounds of interview, mixed with behavioral and technical questions to showcase you knowledge of building system on aws. They also asked gen ai questions on how you would create these systems

Entretien
You do 4 back to back interview in 1 day. It was exhausting. Besides that really appreciated the recruiter giving out interview prep before it takes place. The good thing is there is no coding round.
The interview process was very challenging and thorough. The questions required deep technical knowledge and problem-solving under pressure. While tough, it was fair and tested real-world skills, communication, and adaptability.
