Video Call interview using Amazon Chime, then emailed me lots of different work patterns which I could chose what shift I want to be in. They filled up fast, especially the typical 9-5 Monday to Friday. Weekend shifts and night shifts last to fill up.
After the interview and you have chosen your shift you get invited to an online video session a few days before you start. This is about 3-5 hours long and its like an induction.

Question 1
Basic right to work check, followed by why would you like to work for Amazon. Basically if you've got to this point you are hired. They will hire anyone.
No interview at all, you go into the hiring center, take your drug test, fill out some preliminary paperwork, verify the building and schedule you want, your start date and that's it.
Not too bad pretty easy and straightforward, simple question surrounding handling and moving. Make sure you know basic safety rules as they will ask you, for example how do you carry heavy items.

Apply online, go to the on-site office for oral drug swab and ID picture. Start date is assigned once background check comes back. The actual start date will depend on how fast the check comes back but isn't normally delayed.
