J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon

      Entretien

I've interviewed twice. The first time I made it through the entire interview process, which consisted of an initial 20-30 minute phone screening, then three 45 minute interviews with different managers back-to-back. The second time I didn't move forward after the initial phone interview. It felt like Amazon didn't seem to mind wasting my valuable time as a candidate. After the first time where I spent two and a half hours interviewing (not to mention my time prepping and completing a pre-interview assessment), it sounded to me as though they planned to hire the first 20 candidates who applied, yet they still spent hours interviewing me and other people. Also, be wary of any manager who talks as though you are already on their team. Assume you still don't have the job and they are just doing this to help put you at ease during your conversation. My second time, I was scheduled to interview with the hiring manager who would have been my supervisor if hired. They never showed, and the interviewer I had seemed disengaged and completely disinterested. Their mind seemed already made up and they appeared to have mentally checked out before the interview even finished. I heard back from HR this time the same day, which is at least better than the first time when I got ghosted and only heard back over a week later after I reached out. Also after my first time interviewing, I was supposed to receive an email survey to give feedback and I never did. I did receive a survey for my second time. No feedback is ever given to the candidate as per company policy. All around, my experiences have left a bad taste in my mouth.
