First, HR/Recruiter go through your background and experience and assess fit. They then provide some background on the role and areas of focus. A good summary email is provided on the format they are looking for mapping to Amazon leadership principles and in S.T.A.R format. 2) A technical interview is then next of which then you go through a 60 min Q&A ranging from app dev, security, networking, infra, Data. 3) Next up is the 4-5 one hour behavioral interview looking into situations in the S.T.A.R format

What is a microservice, how and when would you use it? How to best secure, authorization and authentication? What is the role and usage of certificates? How and when would you use a container? Describe to me a data flow while processing video streams When and how would you use CDN and edge services?
Few rounds of interview, mixed with behavioral and technical questions to showcase you knowledge of building system on aws. They also asked gen ai questions on how you would create these systems

Entretien
You do 4 back to back interview in 1 day. It was exhausting. Besides that really appreciated the recruiter giving out interview prep before it takes place. The good thing is there is no coding round.
The interview process was very challenging and thorough. The questions required deep technical knowledge and problem-solving under pressure. While tough, it was fair and tested real-world skills, communication, and adaptability.
