Applied in fall job fair at UC San Diego, got invited to on-campus interviews in January (about 3 months later). Sat through two back-to-back 45-minute technical interviews. Was asked three technical questions overall. I was asked to write Java or C++ on paper by one interviewer. The second one allowed me to use any language. Second interviewer also asked me general questions about my then-current internship etc. I didn't think I did very well (didn't get far on one of the answers). Still got hired as intern for the summer (got email confirmation within a couple of weeks). Got return job offer at the end of internship.
