J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Capital One (Richmond, VA) en oct. 2011
Entretien
I applied online and got an on-campus interview. It was a case interview where they asked me to calculate different things regarding advertising on facebook vs. e-mail. I had never done one before but it was ok. Then I had to take an online verbal/math test but apparently most everyone passes and I got flown out to Richmond for the final round.
The night before a bunch of employees took us to a casual dinner. The next day was interviews that started with a tour of campus. Then you will have 3 case interviews. Mine were very difficult and I struggled through two of them. I am not a business major though so that may have been why I had trouble. After that, they asked some people to stay for a fourth interview and sent some back to the airport. I wasn't asked for a fourth and I didn't receive an offer but I don't know if that was how it was for everyone who left.
Overall I didn't have a good impression because I felt like I was being herded through the process. Not once was I asked about my resume, my personality, or my career goals. Capital One is simply hiring brains, not people. All of the employees I met were extremely awkward, although I've heard they are more normal at the McLean, VA offices.

Question 1
Case about credit cards where you had to take multiple percentages of percentages (note: much harder than their online sample case!)
1 online assessment followed by Power Day with 1 product and 2 cases. Power Day was quite tricky with concepts being combined and tested in different forms. Staying calm and taking in every word is crucial in keeping up with the casing.

The interviewer was friendly he asked me Quantitative questions on a streaming platform, too much math involved. I did not reach the answer though the interviewer tried to help so got the rejection.

I thought I did really well, but they emailed me back in a few hours, rejecting me. This was for the online test before the power day, and they didn't even give me a score.
