I applied through a job posting board and within a couple of days was sent some evaluations to take. Two days after that, I was contacted by a recruiter for a short phone interview and after that we set up a face-to-face interview. The on-site interview was scheduled for five days after the phone call. The day after the interview another recruiter called with the offer. I had recently been rejected for a similar position at another company so I was not feeling hopeful about this one, so I was very surprised and pleased when I was offered the position within 24 hours.
The interview went well; I arrived about a half hour early and they were able to take me right away since the girl before me did not show up. However, the interview took about 55 minutes, rather than the 30 minutes the original recruiter said it would, so I ended up getting out at about the same time. My interviewer was really nice! I sort of blanked at first on the role play (because I should have asked some more questions about what type of situation we would be acting out) but she was good about it and I recovered well.
The buildings in Richmond are very nice, they are attractive and are situated on a large, wooded lot so it has more of an academic rather than corporate feel. Inside it almost looked like a high school, complete with mascot! From what I saw of the floor where I'll be working (which is where the interview took place), the cubicles are large and spacious with 2-3 agents per cube. But they are short cubes so you can see over them when you are standing which prevents it from feeling stuffy.
All in all I'm very excited about starting my new career with this company!
