I have been very interested in Capital One because of their UX-centric culture. As a new MBA grad with a product owner certification, some UX training, and a couple years of digital marketing background, I thought I might have a chance. It was made clear during the interview that they expect , for the manager position, direct experience with a full digital product lifecycle and/or a couple years in digital product management. A software engineering background is also highly preferred. The recruiter was very nice and is looking out for lower-level roles for me, but just wanted to make sure everyone knows that as of January 2023, this is truly the expectation.
