The process involves getting information about the applicant, performing a credit check and if he passes it, then approval is given for the credit card. Without the absence of the credit checking process, 5 % of the people would applied would be denied the card. However, because of the credit check process, debt write-off is reduced by 10%. There is a definite cost associated with the credit check process (do not remember how much). Should the credit check process be scratched?
