I was called in for an office visit. It was a 9AM to 2PM affair where another 8 candidates were present. Recruiter came up to us and explained how the day would be structured. Then a bunch of consultants came and were paired up with each person. They were responsible for showing us around and taking us to our interviews. First interview was with a manager who basically asked me to run through my resume. Second interview was with a partner, this was very laid back and more like a conversation. He did ask one question: Tell me about a time when you were in a team and conflict arose, how did you deal/what was your role? After this all the candidates and consultants got together and we went for lunch. My advice: Never let your guard down, you are being judged the whole day. Make sure that your passion for joining the firm comes through. Ask intelligent questions. Dress to impress :)
