I had applied online and was contacted by recruiter about a month after I had applied . The first two steps i.e. phone screening and 1:1 call with hiring manager were quick with proper feedback and constant communication. After the call with hiring manager I was told I will be called onsite for in-person interview and it took me some follow-ups and almost a month later the interview was organized but the recruiter was overall responsive till here so no complains, I understand that these things take time. However its been almost a month since my in-person interview and I have not received any sort of communication even after follow-ups. I completely understand that not all candidates interviewed will be selected and also that some teams move slow in the hiring process, I am also aware that the team was interviewing other candidates including internal candidates, but that said it is not professional of the recruiting team to not respond to emails /followups, the least they can do is acknowledge your email. However after reading other reviews it appears that ghosting by recruiter is a pretty common practice at Expedia :)

Question 1
Interview questions were pretty straightforward and the interviewers were prepared in what they wanted to learn about the candidate and their experience. Most questions were based on the resume and the job expectations.

An overly negative and disrespectful selection process that involved 5 different interviews on different days, and with limited flexibility to a . Although most of the interviewers were kind and respectful, practically all of the questions were STAR-based generic questions.
Practically all questions asked by each of the 5 interviewers were "template questions" that can be asked to any candidate regardless of their background. Literally, most of the questions I was asked across the nearly 4 hours of interviews were those that you can find on the few hogh-rank articles that show up in Google search results for "product manager interview questions." One of the interviewers, who was particularly junior in the role (six months total, including a paternity leave, according to him), was not very professional and considerate to me during the meeting, probably intimidated by my clearly higher level of experience than him in the job. I politely asked some basic questions about the job such as "how is the employee performance evaluated" that were basically not answered.

Extremely smooth and transparent. HR reached out over an email and set up a discovery call to discuss the position/role/compensation and see if I’ll be interested. Next up was 30min call with hiring manager. We discussed my resume and what I’ve been up to in my current role and what is expected from the role they’re hiring for. Hiring manager liked me and I was put in what they call interview loop. This was 4 interview rounds with different people (everyone I will directly be working with). Each round was 45 min. Questions were around my work experience and behavioural questions (tell me about a time when…). Focus was on problem solving, conflict resolution, team work and critical thinking. The interviews were scheduled quickly and I was able to get done with everything within 7 business days. Thought out the process, HR kept me informed about the timelines. They got back to me after all candidates were interviewed with an offer.
