It's 1925 and motor racing is attracting more and more people. Races are still often held on normal roads, demanding a lot from drivers and machines – and are dominated by men. Imagine you are one of the only women taking part in these events. Ines Folville was one of these female racing pioneers. In 1925, she won the 24-hour race in the Taunus mountain range in Germany on Continental tires 🏆. She was the only female participant. This was followed by many international racing victories. Ines was one of the first professional female racing drivers and inspired many women to get behind the wheel themselves. Continental supported Ines with reliable tires and as a sponsor. Our colleague Ming and his son Jenson embarked on a 500km charity runathon from Kyoto to Tokyo together. 👏 The reason behind it: 17-year-old Jenson wanted to raise awarness for breast cancer.
