Development of battery gigafactories.
Complex industrial buildings: “ultra dry” rooms, sensitive process areas, clean utilities.
Large-capacity HVAC networks, HEPA/ULPA filtration, energy recovery, dust management, controlled atmospheres.
Sizing: thermal and airflow calculations, flow and pressure loss calculations, sizing of AHUs, fans, cooling/heating coils, air treatment systems for dry rooms.
Plans and diagrams: P&IDs, HVAC schematics, piping layouts, openings, BIM models (Revit MEP).
Consider thermal loads from processes (coating, mixing, calendering, assembly).
Define technical interfaces with HVAC, sprinklers, electrical systems, automation, utilities (chillers, steam, hot water, compressed air), dry rooms and sensitive areas.
Manage humidity control and HEPA/ULPA filtration according to process needs.
Validation of execution studies and technical reviews (VISA).
Respond to RFIs and handle technical discrepancies.
Participate in FAT/SAT for AHUs, dehumidifiers, and special HVAC equipment.
Provide technical support on site: spot checks, commissioning, performance testing, balancing.
Draft technical specifications, datasheets, and technical notes.
Participate in bidding processes and contractor selection.
Track schedule, deliverables, and report to Lead Facilities Engineer.
Conduct BIM reviews and multidisciplinary coordination.
Industrial HVAC / Facilities.
Industrial air treatment, dry rooms, clean rooms, HEPA/ULPA filtration.
High-capacity HVAC and large volumes, process extraction.
HVAC control systems, automation, and monitoring.
Balancing, commissioning, energy performance.
Standards: EN, ISO, GMP.
Tools: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, Climawin, P&ID, Microsoft Office, SharePoint.
Mastery of ultra-low humidity constraints (negative dew point).
Close coordination with process and dry room teams.
Strong HSE culture on industrial sites.
Degree in HVAC / Energy / Fluid Mechanics Engineering (INSA, ENSAM, ENSE3, Polytech, etc.).
3 to 10 years of experience in industrial HVAC design / clean utilities.
Experience in demanding industrial environments: pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, fine chemicals, batteries, food, data centers.
Professional English required.
