First, there was a resume screen followed by a 1:1 interview with a senior manager, who primarily asked "walk me through your resume" and follow-up questions. A few weeks after that, there was a social with hors d'oeuvres the night before the interview. The interview day included three interviews with ascending levels of management, including a break for lunch and a brief presentation about EY and why we should work for them. It lasted from about 9am until 3:30pm. The entire interview process focused on fit. You're going to be working with some of these people late at night, and you have to ensure that you like them and they like you. It felt very similar to fraternity rush, just more professional. Shake plenty of hands, make small talk, shine your shoes and press your suit and you will be fine if you have made it past the first round.
