We’re looking for an Operations Business Support Specialist to join our Operations – OAD team based in Paris.
This role offers hands‑on exposure across a broad range of operational and administrative activities in a fast‑growing EMEA environment. You will work closely with local and regional stakeholders while contributing to the smooth day‑to‑day functioning of the Paris office.

The anticipated salary range for this role is €40,000 - €60,000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, role scope, location, and relevant market factors. In addition to base salary, the role may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award and a competitive benefits package, including core benefits such as pension provision.
About this role
This role has been created to support the continued growth of SMBC EU Paris, a dynamic and expanding entity with increasing headcount, multiple sites and developing activities. The position plays a key role in strengthening operational efficiency, administration support and service delivery across the Paris office.
Our role will enable you to:
What will you bring to the role?
Knowledge and understanding of accounting invoice processing
Experience in administrative activities such as order management, archiving and facilities support
Ability to manage fluctuating workloads, prioritise tasks and work accurately in a busy environment
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Fluency in English, both oral and written
Desirable:
Experience working in a banking or financial services environment
Prior exposure to audit support, suspense account reconciliation or service level monitoring
