About this role

This role has been created to support the continued growth of SMBC EU Paris, a dynamic and expanding entity with increasing headcount, multiple sites and developing activities. The position plays a key role in strengthening operational efficiency, administration support and service delivery across the Paris office.

Our role will enable you to:

• Ensuring that all operational aspects of the role are performed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner by the respective team
• Main internal relationships within Operations team and key business partners but also, with Front Officers, Finance and Control and teams across EMEA
• Main external relationships would be with suppliers, storage providers and vendors
• Ensuring swift escalation of any operational issues requiring management and attention

What will you bring to the role?

• Knowledge and understanding of accounting invoice processing

• Experience in administrative activities such as order management, archiving and facilities support

• Ability to manage fluctuating workloads, prioritise tasks and work accurately in a busy environment

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Fluency in English, both oral and written

Desirable:

• Experience working in a banking or financial services environment

• Prior exposure to audit support, suspense account reconciliation or service level monitoring
